Ah, they’re going Chapter 7 this time – total liquidation. They were leasing the station in Washington DC from the Mormon owned Bonneville Broadcasting. So there might be an opening for a new news/talk station :)
This doesn’t let Ed Schultz go free to run for Senate. Schultz is syndicated by Dial Global (formerly Mother Jones Radio). Montel is the person who takes the hardest hit.
It also frees up a channel on CRN that had just switched to Air America, and a channel on Sirius XM…

The really charming thing about this is… at least in part this might have been a result of the left targeting GoldLine, which was advertising on everyone’s show – not just Glenn Beck. It’s the old circular firing squad at work.
