Did Obama’s friends pull the Air America plug? – Progressive Radio has been getting more and more brutal about President Obama’s failures to do the things they voted for him to do – get the troops out of Iraq, close GITMO, get a CO2 treaty, and passing health insurance reform – as well as connecting the dots between Geithner and Goldman Sachs and the bailouts… It seems very reasonable that whoever has been bankrolling Air America at this point saw no propogranda value in keeping it going.

Monday’s aftershocks are still being felt. You now need a scorecard to figure out who is where. Out of curiosity, I’ve watched Chris Matthews Hardball for the last two night…not only is the tingle gone, but he seems to have had a frontal lobotomy. I think (other than a few digs at Sarah Palin) he’s trying to be a little less biased. In his blowup with Howard Dean on Wednesday night, he was a pit bull…great TV!
gotta give Matthews some credit…at least he’s trying to see reality, unlike bathtub boy and dean, obama…i used to have some respect for Dean and felt kinda sorry for him that he got canned from that last pres. race for his “and we going to Maryland, and Michigan, and South Carolina….brraaaagghhh!!!”…but now i can see he’s just dishonest…
The George Soros money has been cut off. The reptiles are crawling back under their rocks.
The Greenes owned AAR and Marc Green ran for some office in NYC (and lost). So I’m sure some bucks were being spent there. AAR didn’t really have anybody left, even their ‘supposed’ home based WWRL wasn’t playing all of their shows.
The only two I liked were Lionel & Ron Kuby. But Kuby bailed shortly after being hired. I’m sure Lionel is asking himself. “Why did I leave WOR?”
The Greene brothers haven’t controlled Air America for a while, although Richard kept doing “clout” (lately from Hollywood – I wonder if he knows Ari Emanuel?). The network was dumped off to some guy in Vermont (or was it New Hampshire?)
