Cyber-bullying case thrown out. There is hope yet for the 1st amendment. Instead of handing out a sentence, the judge threw out the charges.
The judge left a little wiggle room as he writes up the ruling, but the essense of his position is the Mom was convicted of “unauthorized use” of a computer because she violated MySpace’s terms of service. Were that to stand, millions of people would potentially be criminals.
