Another hint of a Citadel/CC parting of the ways…. About 2 weeks ago, Citadel’s WLTI-FM in Syracuse changed from Lite music to News/Talk. There isn’t a Clear Channel program on their schedule. It’s very unique in its lineup – Bob&Tom, Stephanie Miller, Smerconish, Dave Ramsey, MarkLevin, a local guy and McIntyre overnight…. (The call sign just changed to WXTL-FM)

Yeah, that is an unusual lineup. Most odd about it to me is the fact that they’re playing Stephanie Miller twice– live in the morning and in late night. Citadel has hosts in both of those slots (Scarborough in the AM and Batchelor in the PM), and neither one of those hosts is carried on either of WXTL’s rivals, WSYR or WFBL. Miller really doesn’t fit the rest of the format (which leans conservative/libertarian)… so the question is… WHY?
