Tomatoes by request only – that’s the sign hanging in Wendy’s. Because of the cold weather in Florida, the tomatoes are of low quality (translation: expensive from Mexico) so they’ll only be put on a sandwich if you ask (at least here).
Odd, I thought a lot of tomatoes were grown also in the San Joaquin Valley in California. But if the government water blackmail in California was the cause of tomato shortages, that would be Barack Obama’s fault. Way too late to blame that on George Bush.
