Steve Dahl the “Founding Father” of talk radio? Wow, CBS radio has hit a new low in hyperbole. For the 98% of Americans who don’t know, Steve Dahl is an unemployed former “hot talk” jock who used to be on the air on WLUP for like 5 or 6 hours a day filling time talking with Gary Meier talking about important things like what he ate for dinner yeseterday and how he collected his sperm in a jar growing up as a teenage boy. His one moment of national fame was when he held an event at Wrigley field in 1979 to “blow up disco” and things got out of control. If I was building a list of the top 100 pepole in the early days of talk radio, Steve Dahl would not make that list.

I think Rusty Humphrey is using that term on his new intro. Maybe they should put it up for bid on eBay or something.
