Rush “steps into it” over mine safety – ThinkProgress.org and the usual blogosphere suspects are echoing something they discovered he said on April 9th Official transcript here. Rush’s accuracy rating is going to take a hit. While it isn’t a “lie”, it was pretty bone headed.
Rush wanted to know why the unions had allowed the coal miners in West Virginia to continue to work in a mine if they believed it was dangerous.
The answer is: Because it was a non-union mine.
