Horrible news! Fewer childbirth deaths! That’s the subtext of this New York times story. The Lancet journal (the same .uk medical journal that “estimated” that the Iraq War killed 500,000 civilians due to George Bush) reports that worldwide deaths from childbirth are way down. Advocacy groups are OUTRAGED at this news and demanded the story not be printed – such good news will undermine their efforts to get Hillary Clinton to give them more money. Especially noteworthy is the graph indicating that it turns out the “HIV epidemic” that was predicted in Africa is nowhere the size of the fearmongering advocates….
