Well, la, te, frigging da to quote Chris Farley, If those idiots in D.C had any common sense, and the gay community did any research, They would have known if they filed a Advanced Directive, they didnt need congress to pass a bill on giving “rights” to same sex partners to visit each other in the hospital…

The gay activist community doesn’t want “equal rights” they want “minority status” in my humble opinion so they fall under Affirmative Action quotas…
Actually, the “gay rights” agenda is to explode the traditional family. This was one of the goals of Leon Trotsky as well, because it is human (and animal) nature to fight to the death to protect and / or defend one’s family. Eliminating the traditional family weakens society as a whole and makes it complacent in the face of evil and tyranny.
As to any legislation that allows same-sex partners to behave as a married couple, yes, it is redundant. Any two adult humans can enter into contractual agreements, give each other power of attorney, etc. Gays have been kept uninformed as to their options by their supposed advocates precisely so that they will pressure congress to enact legislation that furthers a progressive agenda.
Want to bet in Community Property states it won’t include equal claim to the assets acquired during the relationship and responsibility for each other’s debts?
