Food allergies are in your mind – 30% of adults think they have food allergies, but the real number is 5% (NY Times story). Doctors are reluctant to actually use a placebo test to confirm a diagnosis. (scientific method?)
interesting how since Obamacare was proposed, the NY Times is running one story after another how the medical “system” is overdiagnosing and overtreating “diseases” that don’t exist or don’t benefit from treatment to milk third party payers for as much money as they can. I don’t disagree with that line of thought, but it is curious.
