AIG on hook for 25 years – Bloomberg story indicates AIG may be on the hook for up to 25 years for $200 billion in mortgage credit default swaps. AIG is asking the banks to voluntarily give the swaps back – the “or else” probably is “or we go bankrupt and you get nothing” – which is what they should have done before the US Treasury pumped in $125 billion, which then flowed right into Henry Paulson’s friends at Goldman Sachs…. Even the Huffington Post is catching on to what Paulson and Geithner were up to
