A perch was caught in the Connecticut River that tested positive for Strontium-90, a radioactive byproduct of nuclear activity. Building replacements in less than 10 years is optimistic. The U.S. no longer even has the technology to fabricate the large cap that is needed on the top of the pressure vessel and must rely on them being made in Asia….
