New Howie Carr streaming station in Massachusetts – and it’s a curious one. WHYN-AM in Springfield has started streaming. What is peculiar is this station is owned by Clear Channel. (Howie may have been on it for a long time, but the streaming part is New!). Howie is employed by Entercom that owns WRKO-AM in Boston. Howie’s regional network for the most part fell apart after his contract dispute with Entercom, and it’s a bit odd to see a Clear Channel station carrying a regionally syndicated program that they don’t produce..
