News Breaks…. News/Talk radio tends to have about 2 minutes before the top of the hour and 6:00 to 7:00 minutes after the hour. I just measured the amount of “news” for a station, it was 1:50… and it was actually local news, wnich I think is more than most. Sirius XM channels have no news (unless they are carrying a program syndicated with embedded commercial breaks). oh, they had :40 of stock market report sponsored by a stock broker – that’s almost news….
