In Dallas, a policeman and the son of the just promoted Police chief Brown (and a 3rd person) are dead in an apartment complex. Chief Brown’s son was not a police officer and had a prior drug conviction. Since Mr Brown is a member of a racial minority, the coverage of this story should be interesting to watch.

As expected, AP blackwashed the story. There is no picture of the dead police chief’s son, no mention of his drug conviction, and no reference to his ethnic background.
There was a picture of the police officer who Mr Brown killed – interestingly, he is also African American. The entire story was about 4 paragraphs long. Don’t be looking for Al Sharpton to be getting involved in this case.
Dallas News coverage
more details.. Mr Brown had apparently had a dispute earlier at the swimming pool. He was standing around in boxers and sunglasses and no shoes when a man drove up to visit his sister on father’s day. The man in the car had his wife and two children in the car when Mr Brown walked up to the car and shot him and fired other shots into the car.
As the police started to respond, Mr Brown got a rifle from his apartment and hopped in his vehicle, the first policeman to arrive blocked his escape and an exchange of gunfire started, with the policeman being hit in the head. The other officers arriving on the scene then ended the shooting by killing Mr Brown.
The Dallas Morning News now has the audacity to paint the police chief as victim:
