google.uk horses

Radio Derb is rapidly becoming the highlight of my week. The carefully crafted podcast culminates with asking the profound question: “I wonder what google.uk plans to do when an employee marries his horse?”

Much of this week’s podcast goes to deconstructing President Obama’s “nation of immigrants” cliché speech. John Derbyshire points out the Inconvenient Fact that Einstein’s Nobel Prize winning work and development of the Theory of Relativity happened in Europe from 1907-1912. Einstein immigrated to the United States in 1933 at the age of 54 to escape the Nazi regime coming to power in Germany. (Einstein had renounced his German citizenship at age 17 to avoid military service, and emigrated to Switzerland and Italy at one point).

If you’re a Glenn Beck fan, Einstein was able to enter the U.S. sponsored by Princeton University, which just so happens to be the university headed by Woodrow Wilson from 1902 until 1910 when he ran for President of the United States. Princeton is currently the home of the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs, which you’ll hear a lot in the news once you are aware of its “connections”.

About the only thing Einstein did in the United States was worked on his Unified Field Theory, which he was unable to solve in his lifetime. The other notable contribution to America due to his immigration here were he alerted FDR that the Germans were developing a nuclear weapon, and was a member of the NAACP and worked hard on “social justice” causes.

Einstein was affiliated with a total of 34 Communist organizations, according to the FBI

FBI archive on Einstein’s possible Communist ties.

It’s helpful to know that in the 1930s, many in the United States on the left supported the Communists in the Spanish Civil War (basically the Russian backed side). Several prominent Americans went to Spain to fight in the civil war – Ernest Hemingway joined them to write about their actions. The Americans fought in a group called the Abraham Lincoln Brigade, but in keeping with their egalitarian philosophy, wanted an army with NO military ranks and everyone doing what they wanted. I’m “shocked” to report that a large number of them died in Spain.

  1. ICCDude says:

The Einstein bit was just the tip of the Obama Lie iceburg that was his Immigrant speech.
The main lie that he slung so much scat around to obfuscate was the this:
The early immigrants were legal. The ones today in question are illegal.
We can’t “fix” immigration until we secure the borders.
Can you imagine the human flood of people crossing the border if the govt. said ” You have 6 months to register to become a citizen if you are here now”, since the govt. would claim it needed the time to process the 15 MILLION people (probably more like 25 MILLION).
And I do know 1 person who would be for a Presidential Executive Amnesty Order – Pete Stark!
