More SRN news strangeness

A while back, I wrote about Salem Radio News (SRN) having several “news” items that were pro-Islamic propoganda – a bit odd for an organization that targets its media at mostly Conservative Christians (Salem owns Townhall.com).

Immediately before the hour when Michael Medved was to talk about the “Ground Zero Mosque”, the SRN news broadcast had an item about all the wonderful iPhone apps created for followers of Islam, including one that finds restaurants with Hallal food and an app that points to Mecca.    This is “News”?   I wonder if CAIR is their news source….

Salem Radio is a publicly traded for-profit company that has been under significant pressure from loans they ran up to acquire radio stations – their just released quarterly results showed some improvement in income, much of that from national advertisers.
