Sharia and the Law of Moses

One of my flaws is at times I should be more direct and not hope that the Socratic method will be effective.

The point of much of the Glenn Beck thread was to be point out that the things people point to in Sharia law (killing apostates, polygomy, religious leaders running courts, killing non-believers, slavery, etc) are derived directly from the Law of Moses.

Moses is one of the prophets of Islam.
Same law, different tribe.

The fact that Muslims don’t eat pork isn’t just an odd coincidence.

Koran 6:145: “I do not find in what is inspired to me forbidden except that it be already dead, or blood, or the meat of pig, for it is foul; or what is corruptly dedicated to other than God[Allah].”

What if Glenn Beck is right, indeed?

Keep that in mind next time Tom Hartmann says something like “The extreme Right Wing is not that different than extreme Muslims”
