Drudge has an usual link up today – he has a link to Alex Jones at prisonplanet.com about the movie Machete.
‘Machete’ producers lie about racist bloodbath
Alex Jones got a copy of the film’s script and was warning that film was being produced with a subsidy from the State of Texas, and the plot was designed to stir up anti-American hatred using racial stereotypes and encouraging violent mob action against whites.
All the usual groups dismissed his warning as just so much more of his paranoid fantasies. Turns out his description based on the script was exactly correct.
Who would buy the rights to distribute this film in the United States? Think about that – count to 10 and then come up with the most improbable answer (or most likely if you read my blog regularly)
1…2….3…..
If you guessed Rupert Murdoch’s News Corp, you win the prize… DING DING DING…
Fox wins ‘Machete’ bidding war
Jones has a fact wrong (surprise!) – Fox did not finance the production of the movie – most of that money came from Sony. Fox came in after the film was made and put up the money to promote the film and get it into theaters in the United States, including the part that is occupied Mexico around Los Angeles.
I look forward to hearing Glenn Beck talk about this, and the editorials in the Wall Street Journal
