Your skin color isn’t black enough!

The primary for Mayor in Washington DC (which is essentially the general election since there is no Republican party in DC to speak of) happened last night.

The incumbent mayor Adrian Fenty – who is biracial – has made school reform a high priority during his 4 years as mayor, and made substantial progress.  He did well in the white parts of DC, but was overwhelmed by the black areas of the city who rejected him as not being black enough.   Four years ago, he won with 89% of the vote.

I wonder if President Obama will be discussing this overt racism aimed at biracial blacks at his next news conference.  Those typical black people are clinging to their hatred of clean articulate biracial people, love of their gun control, and resentment of people who don’t look like them when walking down the street, and forcing them to “act white” by going to school and learning stuff.

If you listen to WOL-AM (the “black” talk radio station in DC), for some time the racists there have been fear-mongering about the “gentrification” being pushed by the mayor  (OMG, the whites are moving in – there goes the neighborhood!).  You won’t hear about this on the National nightly news.

Listen for yourself – racism is always ugly:

Since the flap of the TSA’s new full body scan machines if you refuse, you end up getting a “pat down”. A reporter recently went thourgh a pat down and told the TSA agent ‘don’t touch the junk bro’ because if you do I’ll sue. If you refuse to be scanned or have a pat down you will be asked to leave. My question is this, What happens if a good muslim flyer is faced with this little situation ?
Do they get special consideration, is the machine isolated to the head and neck is the pat down isolated too ? Do they get a private room ? So many questions so little time.
