“I think she [Sarah Palin] is very happy in Alaska, and I hope she stays there.”

Prepare yourself now that the Republican “Establishment” is preparing to run Jeb Bush for President in 2012. If you’re part of the Tea Party “movement”, you better not wait a year to decide what to do.
I like Barbara Bush. I like her husband George and her son the other George. Those two were presidents of mine. And they gave us Hairy Reeds, Nanny Peelousy, and the Naif-in-Chief Obomber … not mention two USSC appointments and counting, and a busybody circus of dolts, dullards, dunces and dumbells in the Senate and Congress. Nancy, love ya do, but maybe YOU should go to Alaska and let the “rogue” do what she can to ameliorate your men’s messes.
Either Jeb or Sarah would be preferred to Barack but neither is the right person for the job of president.
(and I voted for Jeb as Governor, twice)
Not an unsurprising opinion from the New England “Federalist” side of the Republican party, the same folks who lost what should have been an easy presidential reelection in 1992, and pushed forward presidential candidates like Bob Dole in 1996 and John McCain in 2008. Remember, George and Barbara Bush initially didn’t think Ronald Reagan was qualified to be president until Reagan dismantled Bush in the 2000 primaries and Bush then joined Reagan’s team as an also-ran. Bush never really bought into Reagan’s grass roots conservative principles and it cost him reelection in 1992.
!!LOSERS!!
I liked all the Bush family…..Think they are probably nice people…..And also think I did not ask for their opinion as to where I should place my vote…..Yep, not looking to an “elitist republican” for an option.
I do agree that Barbara Bush will likely go down in history as one of the nicest and most gracious First Ladies the country has ever had. She’s a private citizen now and thus is able to offer (contentious) opinions that she would not have offered when she lived in the White House.
