Tobacco Terrorism

So I’m walking through a local supermarket yesterday and I’m walking past the bathrooms near the front of the store… and a female store employee frantically is yelling for a male co-worker to “come here right now”… the urgent kind of thing you ignore at your own peril.

About the same time, I smelled the odor of a cigarette coming from the men’s bathroom. When the male worker opened the door, there was nobody inside. The criminal had escaped!

So me being the paranoid person I am, I’m thinking… I’m the only person close to the bathroom – are fingers going to point at me? How many video cameras are there recording every person’s movements to show I’m innocent? Are they going to call the police?

It’s amazing how much Progress we have made in the country in the last 20 years. Fortunately, I probably only lost a few years of my life from that 5 second exposure to deadly second hand tobacco smoke.

Darn, I forgot to use my iPhone to report this incident to Big Sis using the new Snitch app…

The whole smoking issue is SO blown out of proportion now.
I had a 20 year old kid tell me that a mother smoking in a car was actually safer than her baby who was been slowly killed by the second hand smoke.
So I asked him ” Is she not in the car also? So she’s taking both the first hand smoke AND the second hand smoke, but the baby is getting a worse dose since she’s getting only second hand smoke? Based on this logic there has to be some healing components in first hand smoke protecting her from the danger in the second hand smoke?”
I further told him “Don’t believe everything you hear, especially when it flys in the face of basic logic.”
