MMS comes to the iPhone! :)

AT&T released an update today that supposedly now allows Windows Media streams to work on its network. If true, my job just a got a lot easier :) Go to iTunes and check for updates, and it will install a “carrier update”. It didn’t seem to be a software patch – probably just a list of port #s that are no longer blocked by AT&T

Maybe the threat of “Network Neutrality” finally got to them, or maybe people like me complaining :)

Oops, is my face red! :)

Different MMS…. this one allows you to attach pictures or video to Text Messaging :)

    Never Mind.

Sheesh, it took that long for the iPhone to support that technology? That’s pretty standard fare these days.

The update was not to software or firmware – the issue was network capacity issues with AT&T. LTE will solve a lot of that, but probably also mean having to buy a 4GS phone in a year or two…. I doubt the 3G hardware can support LTE with just clever software.

AT&T can barely handle the data traffic that’s there already and for goodness sakes – put up some more 3G stuff AT%T! I’m lucky when I get a 3G signal!

Perhaps they could hire a sign language specialist for Glenn Beck, and produce signed videos of his broadcasts. Now that is a vision – I bet he’d wear out that poor soul faster than Kadafi wore out his UN interpreter. $^)
