People who loiter here for whatever reason can’t escape that I’m not a fan of Fox News…. Fox is owned by a globalist and I blame them for inciting the country to think there was no alternative but to rush into Iraq to find WMDs that didn’t exist.
So Fox News and the “We Hate Obama no matter what he does” chorus are making a big deal out of President Obama “Misquoting” Isaiah 40:31 at the National Prayer Breakfast.
What he said:
“Those who wait on the Lord […] will soar on wings like eagles, and they will run and not be weary, and they will walk and not faint,”
What Fox News says Isaiah 43:10 says:
“But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.” {KJV]
What the New International version of the Bible says:
“but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.”
New American Standard Bible:
Yet those who wait for the LORD Will gain new strength; They will mount up with wings like eagles, They will run and not get tired, They will walk and not become weary.
English Standard Version
but they who wait for the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.
While the world is falling apart, the best Fox News can do is argue over which version of the Bible is the “real” one? After all, is there any doubt he was reading it right from a TelePromptr?
Culture Shocks on KCAA (it’s a guest host on the atheism themed show) just mentioned Fox Sports. Fox Sports has rejected a commercial on the [Big Football Game whose name cannot be mentioned] in which a football player has John 3:16 painted on his face and a guy at a party looks up what it says – it was rejected for advocating a controversial point of view, and the atheists think Fox Sports is overreacting and it’s no big deal. The world is turning upside down.

Then, we should demand an Intelligence test on the MSNBC anchors… that’ll take about 5 minutes before ALL their heads EXPLODE!!
It is said that in the Valley of the Blind the one-eyed man is king. FOX is not all that I’d want it to be, but as an alternative to the partisan, agenda-constipated “media” that has misled and propagandized the nation for decades with no alternative, I welcome FOX, even with one eye, and wish them success.

The problem with the Repubs is if you don’t believe in everything as they do than you can pound sand. Not very inclusive.
And then there is McCain (never again), who was so moderate he was indistinguisable from the Socialist in Chief who was lying to sound more moderate.
And on the subject of Bible misquotes, I betcha he’d get his Islam quotes right.
I think the issue is that Obama’s teleprompter has either misquoted or taken EVERY Bible quote out of context. I have NEVER heard him quote or reference the bible correctly. This all by itself is what IS noteworthy.
