Glenn Beck and Bear Stearns

Glenn said something around 11:40 ET that I’ve thought for a long time, but thought it not responsible to state as a fact.

In the context of the Pentagon report about the conspiracy to destroy the financial system, Glenn said that an important step in the process of destroying Bear Stearns was for someone to launch a “whispering campaign” that they were having problems and create a selling panic.

That person was Glenn Beck.

At the time, he was working for CNN and doing the radio show, and he said on both venues that he was hearing things Bear Stearns was in serious trouble and about to collapse. And then it did.

He may not have known he was being used, but it was clear to me at the time that Beck has some explaining to do about who was feeding him the rumor about Bear Stearns.

Time for a gold coin commercial.

Hi! My name is Gregor Samsa … and I’m feeling a bit out of sorts today. Perhaps it’s some kind of bug that I’ve caught… .

There is a learning curve to righteousness…. that came out more snarky than I meant it, but it’s too good to delete…. any-who, I think you are right. Many an acolyte has fallen away because of the webs their advisors may be involved in. I don’t believe he is insane, I am glad that he now has the financial independence to ‘deliver the goods’ unfettered. accurate in the long run or not – he is honest.

      I missed your snark.

I’m still trying to figure out what an early 20th century German novelist has to do with Glenn Beck, or the United States, or Barack Obama or me 8^P…

What was it thematically that FK wrote about? It’s as timely today as ever it was.

From your lips to Beck’s handlers’ ears… ;)
