    Remember, exposure to radiation does not make one radioactive. We are not like those glow-in-the-dark stickers that you hold up to the lamp. If people are “hot” it’s because they are “dirty” with radioactive particles, either from breathing in dust, or plutonium dioxide (it actually burns when exposed to air), or having collected it on their skin or hair or clothing. This is the stuff that lasts and blows everywhere. That smoke is bad.
