Missing from the list… Anything from Chicago (ex Sears Tower?, Michigan Ave), the Arch in Saint Louis, the Denver Mint, Stone Mountain Georgia, the Grand Ole Opry, Horseshoe Bend, Biltmore Castle in NC, Point State Park / Fort Duquesne in Pittsburgh, US Spàce & Rocket Museum in Huntsville Alabama, the Alamo in San Antonio…

Fenway Park and the pirate tour of Boston Harbor – really?

When was the Maid of the Mist renamed the Cave of the Winds?

    Maid of the Mist was prolly just too damned sexist and insensitive. Why, that’s so simple even a caveman could do it.

    WALT DISNEY WORLD???

    Most of what’s listed here is common tourist fare, very little “Must See Before…” material among it, IMO.

    Nothing about the Alamo… Anasazi cliff dwellings… Appomattox?? And that’s just the A’s…. !!

    Oy. The dumbed-down generation have now come of age, and are pontificating. Gentlemen, start your ipods.
