    I wonder how quickly the passenger roster will be “profiled”?

      Well, I read a big long bunch of “comments” on the CNN web site (which were about 90% youtube kiddy posts….)

      The story pointed out that the plane was diverted to a military base, and the people were not allowed off the plane.

      Of course, it was probably just metal fatigue and/or maintenance outsourced to a third world country. Southwest runs their planes through a lot of compression / decompression cycles with their short hop flights and efficient plane utilization

    Most likely due to extreme local stress caused by an oversized purse…
