Officer killed on British submarine

A member of a nuclear submarine’s crew shot and killed an officer in the control room and shot his rifle into the control room’s operating controls.

There are reports that the RAF is unable to find enough pilots to fulfill the missions in Libya, and most of the sorties come back without doing anything.

    PS – “Tommy Atkins” was roughly the equivalent of “GI” to the Brits, at least in Kipling’s day. Soldiers.
