Okay, I’m not surprised, but I am surprised.
I’m checking around to see my viewing options tomorrow for Atlas Shrugged Part I using Fandango, an iPhone app. There is exactly one screen listed. It’s 14 miles away.
On the other hand, if I wanted to see the remake of Arthur, generally agreed to be one of the worst movies of all time, I have 7 choices.
Rusty Humphries want us all to go this weekend in hopes that it get a wider release.
I went to the showing at 12:30 pm. It’s a theater I’ve never been to before – it’s right next to the NorthEast Corridor rail tracks in kind of a semi-industrial neighborhood.
There were maybe 10 people in the theater. I didn’t expect there to be anyone 8^P Nobody was under 50…. I got there about 12:10 and went to the concession stand deliberately to buy an overpriced hot dog, since that’s where the theaters make the money. She didn’t have any – it would take 15 minutes to heat one up, so I settled for my $4.50 kit kat bar.
WHERE IS THE GUIDE

Odd that people would think it was a paid advertisement. Those people obviously haven’t read the book.
At least we got to see the trailer. From Springfield, IL I could travel 70 miles one direction or 90 miles another. 14 doesn’t sound so bad.
The Guide is back but I do wonder why the Atlas Shrugs movie trailer came up all day while I tried to connect to it???
It appears to be down or re-directed again! Is this permanent. I was listening earlier but the program changed and when I went back to the site it was gone!!!
Hey Art, if you’re dropping the guide, thanks for the work you had put into it – it was a GREAT site :)
Thanks Art, for all your work,
Jack
