KDOX in the Las Vegas market apparently has joined the trend of News/Talk stations playing music on the weekends. In this case, it makes more sense – they are carrying Scott Shannon’s Oldies channel. Since Vegas is a big weekend destination for people from Los Angeles getting away from reality, it makes sense that Oldies music would be more interesting than Sean Hannithy reruns.
