Google’s DNS service – unless you’re a techno-geek, you probably won’t care – but Google is now offering a public DNS resolver. It’s address is 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 (Google must have friends in high places)
If you find you get a lot of server not found messages when you know that the server is there and other people aren’t getting errors, it might be worth giving a try…. The info is here:
