Driving your car to Australia – I was playing with an iPhone app [insert groan here] that shows when trams are going to arrive in Melbourne Australia, and it has a convenient button to show you directions of how to get a specific tram (trolley) stop. I figured, what is the worst that can happen?
So here is how to drive your car from Connecticut to Melbourne Australia to ride a tram:
– Cross the United States… New York, Chicago, Seattle – so far so good
– put your car in a kayak, row to Hawaii
– circumnavigate the world from west to east passing through North Africa, the Middle East and China until you arrive at a spot in the Pacific Ocean off the coast of Japan
– Head NW and row up the Tone River in Japan until you come to Tsukuba
– Unload your car and drive south on the main island of Japan until you get to Nagasaki
– put your car back onto your kayak and travel to Fukue island
– traverse Fukue Island
– hop back into the Pacific Ocean and head South past Okinawa for 3300 miles until you arrive at Darwin on the island nation of Australia
– Cross Australia from north to south traversing the desert and the inland of Australia for another 2000 or so miles
– Arrive at Melbourne
See, this is why guys never ask for directions!
Darn! I missed the tram by 2 minutes….
