I have an idea! – submit that as a suggested poll :)
    Submit a poll

There has only been one poll submitted since I did the work to make that possible. I was expecting a few more people would join the fun….

yeah, but they’re usually fun callers….makes for an entertaining show….

I wonder what percentage of shows have at least one time had the producer or other staff come on the line pretending to be a caller for entertainment value or because the show gets no callers…

Beck does it a lot, but it’s so “over the top” when Stu calls in that you know its a bit unless you don’t listen to the show regularly.

I always thought the “JC” guy calling into Coast to Coast must have been a producer.

I always kind of wondered if Art Bell’s wife ever called in…. I remember one evening a woman calling in and talking about being abducted by aliens and having sex with them…. you could tell Art Bell was umm…. probably glad he wasn’t on a webcam….

Aside from Phil Hendrie, I’m assuming?

do you think Gibson does that? i would think he has enough stations to not have to stoop to that, and he’s on Sirius although that prob doesn’t count for much…

No idea – I haven’t listened enough to his show to have an opinion…. but he does seem to have trouble getting callers… he doesn’t have a single over the air affiliate that carries the entire show live (at least that streams)….. so people on Sirius/XM are probably his main audience that have the ability to call in.

I didn’t see the entire movie, but didn’t the producer pretend to be a caller in “Talk Radio” (the movie about Alan Berg)…
