MSIE “must get” security update – CERT…

MSIE “must get” security update – CERT has announced, and Microsoft is pushing an “out of cycle” Internet Explorer update today. This problem allows remote code execution on a computer just by visiting a web site. Not waiting until the once a month update signals this is a really bad problem they are plugging. If you have automatic updates turned off, do a manual update check today. If you are a FirexFox user, chortle and tell us how you’re smarter than Microsoft.

It affects all versions of Internet Explorer – you got the IE8 patch because that’s what you have installed :)
