I wonder– Florida is a fairly common tax haven, and it’s where Rush Limbaugh moved for that same reason. There’s also Texas, where Pat Gray is from. Florida also has a bigger television infrastructure (though it mainly stems from Spanish-language TV), an area where Texas lags.
Texas was the only state he mentioned on the air – and the context was that he heard law enforcement on the border is telling people to arm themselves, that really bad stuff is coming over the border – so maybe Texas isn’t the best option.
