I was 15 years old when my father turned 65 and became eligible for Medicare. Let’s say it’s 2014 and Obamacare is in full force. A father retires from his job that had health insurance coverage and signs up for Medicare. Will Medicare have to add dependent coverage care for children up to 26? Who will be paying the premium? What if dad doesn’t pay? Or will the former employer be paying for a retired employee’s children for 11 years, even after the former employee is dead?
