Michael Reagan update – after Radio America ended the syndication of his program, the adopted son of Ronald Reagan landed at American Family Radio. AFR is run by a 501(c) organization led by Donald Wildmon. Reagan was given one hour a day on the “talk” network run by AFR, which is mostly prerecorded religious programs funded by donations, although they do carry Focus on the Family. Because they are a 501(c), the network can talk about issues, but not engage in partisan politics. There was virtually no interest in his AFR show (at least here). The show has vanished from their program schedule (it could have happened a year ago – nobody was listening and the schedule entries expired so the last note on the show was from April 2009)

Writing a book about his allegations of being “molested” by a neighbor down the street, and then talking about it night after night seems to be the point at which his radio program flew into the ground. That’s not why people turn on their radio to hear about the demons in other people’s lives
