Savage profiled in New Yorker magazine -…

Savage profiled in New Yorker magazine – requires registration to read the entire article. I thought Savage started at KSFO – it turns out he worked at KGO (the liberal station) on weekends first – which further confirms my theories about his actual political beliefs and why he despises every conservative talk show host..

  1. Art Stone says:

I guess Savage has been talking about this all last week, which shows you how little attention I’m paying. He more or less confirmed today what I have believed for a long time – his radio show is just that – a “show”. He lowers himself intellectually to the “morons” who listen to his show with their petty little ideas in order to have a successful show that appeals to the masses while he thinks the big polemic thoughts about existentialism for us mere mortals – exactly what having a PhD from Berkeley prepares you to do. The reporter from New Yorker completely understands what Savage is about.

Savage was talking now about directing a documentary about his life. It’ll be a while before I listen again – if I miss something really important, let me know.
