NewsBusters appropriately slammed the new Huffington/Matalin “crossfire” type show because the “host” is Mark Green, former head of Air America – who did not disclose that he is a radical progressive activist, and not a neutral host.
Their web site has an affiliate list up now – I immediately recognized the list as the handful of stations that turn their station over to the Lifestyle Radio Network and/or Business Talk Radio Network (BTRN) for the entire weekend, and could care less about ratings or what is on the air. [How sick is it that I now recognize those patterns?]
I didn’t hear the show as I didn’t know any affiliates ahead of time. I’ll add them in to be tested (those that stream). I doubt the show will last long enough to be tested unless it has funding from George Soros or something.
Looking closer, the Lifestyle Talk Radio schedule doesn’t list the show, and the Both Sides Now web site does not mention the time the show is aired on its affiliates, so there is no way to confirm that the show is even on any stations. This smells like a “future affiliates” list when/if Lifestyle carries the show.
These “impartial” hosts need to be exposed. Keep up the good work, Art.
I’m sure my Lib friends will start touting this show as the new thing.
But we’ll see if Soros will foot the bill, cause no Libs will open the wallet.
