Radio is abuzz about the finding that young people are really still listening to radio. Before you applaud too loudly, keep in mind that Nielson is measuring small market stations, not big cities. It’s not a big surprise to me that kids in Dubuque Iowa still may be listening to radio – but the bulk of the US population and advertising revenue are not in those markets.
