The Radio Biz self-immolation boards are a twitter over the latest Rush “controversy”.
Rush was getting impatient over the lag in translation of President Hu’s speech and wondered why it had stopped. Keep in mind Rush has a Cocchlear implant since he is deaf, and still relies on reading closed captioning quite a bit.
According to Wikipedia(*), this is an “ethnic slur” to mimic the sound of Asian languages. Rush should be fluent in Mandarin Chinese and Japanese like Tim Geithner.

Somewhat off-topic, but since when did the perfectly legitimate word “Oriental” become the N-word of Mongoloid (oops!) races? In case it slipped past the news cycle, Keith Obermann was fired (quit?) by MSNBC on Friday. For real this time. It had absolulely nothing to do with Comcast getting control of NBC *wink* *wink*

The guy was just plain ugly when he ranted politics, then was just the good ole happy boy when doing sports.

Some of the ex-Air America folks have been pretty harsh on President Obama for “caving” to the “tea baggers” and doing none of what he promised (getting out of Iraq, finishing the war in Afghanistan, Closing Guantanamo, passing Universal Heath Care, Free college for everyone, fresh hot whole grain bagels delivered to your front door every day, etc)…
Sorry but the fresh hot whole grain bagels got cancelled by Michelle Antoinette for two reasons, the carbs will make you fat and she prefers we eat cake.
Funny, we live in such a litigious world. Everything is a slur or someone takes offense for inane talk. Seems that men are really chicks (according to Adam Carolla) with such high levels of sensitivity that everything is an invasion of my ethnicity, religion, and political affiliations.
