I think it’s actually “journalism” that people aren’t trusting these days.
I had heard on the radio news that what is going on is smart phones and tablets (iPads) are seriously starting to cut into PC sales'(and copies of Windoze). If I had an iPad (which I may get after the new version comes out) I wouldn’t much need a PC any more. For a more typical home user, that should be even more true.

Microsoft Market Cap: 247.00B
IBM Market Cap: 198.12B
Google Market Cap: 197.34B
Windoze? Really. It can be an eye opener to see who the biggest kid on the block is.
I remember when IBM was the end-all/be-all.

I could tell you I was a close friend of Samuel Hollerith, but that would be a lie and not humorous like yours is. I actually started with paper punch tape and then regress to punch cards.
