February 2011 Electric car sales report

Source

Chevy Volt:  281   (down -13% from January)
Nissan Leaf:  67

Those are national figures…   I’m surprised the government didn’t buy up a few thousand for use by the IRS

In my snail mail, I just learned that my replacement Chevrolet dealer (Named ScrewYou Chevrolet in my iPhone) has stopped selling GM cars.

Let’s see – 281 cars x 260 miles per gallon = 73,060 miles per gallon!

When the schmucks in the libtard cabal to force gasoline and all other bio-fuels costs through the roof — say, seven bucks per gallon of regular within a year — THEN see how those sales begin to look. Not all persuasion is persuasion. Some of it is coercion. It’s all for our own good, damn it. Ein Volk, ein Reich, ein Führer!

Remember that when you can’t find power to heat your home or fuel your car. We’re just “spreading the wealth”.

Heard the media-parrots today say they expect the oil price to continue upward.
CNBC on Wed or Thurs. runs the oil numbers, and the you can get a better picture of supply vs. what we used from there.
The most interesting thing I learned from following this numbers a few yrs ago was that refinery repairs and “refits” are typically done in the summer and can boost the price while they shut down to make the repairs.
So with summer right around the bend are we headed for that “perfect oil storm”?
