Imus had 177,000 viewers his first day on Fox Business News cable channel. Glenn Beck was one of his guests. I wonder what his ratings will be without Beck :)

    Perhaps I’m being cynical, but I don’t think Imus is a good fit for Fox Business. I wonder what went into that thought process.

    I have been a sometime Imus fan for about 10 years. Kind of depends on the mood. I got DirectTV just to get RFD when he was on that channel. I do miss the cows.

    I saw the modern staging at his new digs, and wondered how long it would be before he fell off that crazy raised platform – just like the horse that threw him. I agree, the fit is forced. The old cramped radio studio with the western gear was much more Imus territory, as was the surrounding programming.

    I wonder how they are going to deal with his unending time off during the summer, and all the extended holidays he takes. Maybe borrow some Horse Whisperer tapes, or play a couple auction reruns.

    Wow. For a station that averages 21,000 viewers a day, that’s really impressive, especially compared to the 31K that Imus was getting on RFD. It looks like Imus was just what FBN needed.

      But tiny compared to the 2.6 million+ Beck gets at 5 PM on Fox News channel… my “point” was that maybe the Imus bump had more to do with Beck :)

      I wonder if they have any plans to do a daily feature showing a sonogram of how Don Imus’s prostate cancer is growing….
