A few years ago, I got fed up with the large amount of useless information in the database – schedule items that needed constant testing and maintenance that no visitor to the web site had tried to use in over a year. I did a massive purge at that time – the main casualties were Public Radio Shows, local hosts and things like Classical music. People don’t need to come here to find those things and Google doesn’t send them here.
I just ran a similar analysis (but not yet purge) showing the count of schedule items (a program on a specific station at a specific time) that have not been used since January 1st 2013 (or never used). The instinct of volunteers is almost always “Let’s put everything in for every station”, which sounds nice until the volunteer loses interest.
So here is the current list:

It’s probably worth mentioning that if someone clicks on the a radio station without clicking on the specific program, the system “imputes intent” that the listener probably intended to listen to the show currently on the air.
