Well that should certainly simplify searching (once we cut out the 97.62% “lies”, and are left with Google’s version of the “truth”).

Question: if I pay (as many folks do) to keep my links at the top of google searches does that guarantee me a spot in the “truth” category?

I think “truth” is like “history” – the winner writes history his way and Google now gets to write truth. All this from an employer of tens of thousands of people whose average age is in the low 30’s and an entity that is more liberal than Barack Obama. I am sure that the “truth” will win out.

Wikipedia is the more blunt force weapon. Young people especially are getting comfortable with not knowing anything – it’s a wasted effort to learn when you can just go to Wikipedia.

The Fox News comments are being flooded by the brown shirts whose only purpose is preventing communication – in fairness, the Fox News fans are doing the same to Politico, at least when Drudge links to a story.

On the story of Hillary conducting State Department business using a mail server in her home, a poster made the claim that the law requiring government emails to be done on government computers and retained was passed only after she left office – obviously a blatant lie. Once the last of the newspapers die, and Wikipedia is the keeper of our collective memory, it won’t take much to make that true.

Another thread asked when Republicans will pass more Jim Crow laws to suppress black voter registration. Yeah, right.
