Thank you for that additional insight. That’s really a puzzle how Immigration and Customs has jurisdiction over an alleged suspect of the robbery of a pizza delivery guy unless the dead guy was on probation for being an undocumented migrant worker.

The ICE officer turns out to be a guy who was kicked off the Detroit police force (which takes a lot) and he ended up being hired by ICE

It’s a little confusing – the $20k settlement was not from the current incident, but a prior unjustified incident where he was involved with an operation involving helping a Detroit police officer do an arrest for sitting in a car playing rap music without a license
