Parrott as new web site owner?

Over in the poll section, Parrott nominated himself to be the new maintainer of this web site when the inevitable happens. I’m overdue to see a lawyer to write down my wishes for the trustee of my revocable trust if I die or become unable to manage my affairs.

His proposal seems to have a lot of support. Any opinions?

It will be a long time before the inevitable happens. Hopefully, Parrott is retired and has the time to dedicate to the site. If so – great!

I would have loved to offer my services, but at 76 with a myriad of health problems, I will probably kick the bucket long before anyone here. Until that time, tell me what to do, I love this site and have a bit of time available.

One thing that anyone can do is to set the show topics. You have to do it while the show is live, not delayed broadcasts, as that would create confusion. You have to be logged in to the main website, not the blog login.

There are multiple ways to get to the topic page, but the most obvious is
      http://streamingradioguide.com/streaming-radio-stations.php

And then click the link to Join the Conversation. The main thing to understand is the show topic is not your opinion about the host or the topic… “Rush is really devastating Hillary today” is not a topic. “Rush is discussing whether Hillary was wearing an earpiece” is a topic (if he was talking about that). Adding the topic does not require you to use streaming to validate that you really are listening.
