Herman “9-9-9” Cain has had enough. He has turned in his 30 day notice to his syndicator. He will still be heard on WSB in Atlanta and other Cox stations. The syndicator is suggesting Kilmeade as a replacement. It may be this is really an alignment making room for Chris Plante.

- Fred Stiening said WFOM-AM and its FM translator cannot even be heard in most of Atlanta. Dickey also own WCNN-AM, a station comparable to WSB in terms of signal. This tells me the Dickey family deliberately wants Rush to go away. The only other good AM candidate is...

- Fred Stiening said The first major affiliate to drop Rush Limbaugh has happened. It was not unexpected. Cox Radio has their own noon-3 guy (Erick Ericskon) they are syndicating, so they dropped “Rush lives on” from WSB-AM and WSBB-FM in Atlanta. Cox Radio w...

I like Herman and admire his business background but Chris brings some valuable knowledge to the job of conservative radio talker. Not only is he the son of a longtime liberal CBS news correspondent, he’s also a CNN veteran who knows from the inside how the sausage is made.
John Batchelor is inching off the stage. He used to do the Sunday night show live to catch the stock market opens in Asia. The Saturday and Sunday shows have been recorded segments from his vast library of interviews for probably five years now, many of them authors of history books. Six days a week with 4 hours a day was insane. Doug Stephen is the other example that nutty.
So at year end, the Saturday and Sunday night shows go away. It would be totally reasonable for him to join the ranks of talk show hosts that don’t work on Friday and have a personal life again. Under President Trump, there won’t be much to talk about.
